Description
Natural roasted Baru Nuts · unseasoned · vegan
Originating from the Cerrado region in Brazil, Baru nuts are a sustainable and organic product, without the addition of chemicals in its cultivation and production.
Very versatile, the Baru nuts can be added to different types of recipes. They can be consumed as a snack or added to salads, sweet recipes, pastes, savory dishes, yogurt, smoothies, and much more.
Baru nuts' taste resembles peanuts, but with a softer flavor and harder texture, like an almond. They offer an excellent nutritional value: Powerful in proteins, essential fatty acids, fibers, vitamins, and minerals.
Great source of plant-based protein for vegan or vegetarian diets. Baru nuts present higher levels of protein than other oilseeds — such as Brazil nuts or hazelnuts — and legumes like beans, peas, and chickpeas.
High levels of unsaturated fatty acids Omega9 and Omega6, which help control cholesterol, prevent heart diseases, and improve immunity.
Contains significant levels of minerals such as iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and zinc, which are essential for body function and prevent degenerative diseases.
Rich in Vitamin E, which is beneficial for glowing skin and hair.
Allergens: Nuts, may contain traces of nuts.
Origin: Brazil (shipping)
